Author Visit and Q&A - Tommy Tomlinson
Meet the author! Tommy Tomlinson is the author of Dogland (2024) and The Elephant in the Room (2019), host of the podcast SouthBound, and writes a newsletter called The Writing Shed. Tommy and his wife, Alix Felsing, live in Charlotte with a cat named Jack Reacher. Refreshments to follow!

SEYMOUR – Tommy Tomlinson was watching a dog show on television a few years ago when he had a sudden thought: Are those dogs happy? How about pet dogs -- are they happy? Those questions sparked a quest to venture inside the dog-show world, in search of a deeper understanding of the longtime relationship between dogs and humans, and in his latest book Dogland he shares his surprising, entertaining, and moving adventures.
Tomlinson will discuss Dogland in a special appearance and book signing in Seymour on May 2. The Charlotte, N.C. writer will talk about the book from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 2 in the community room of Williams Family Seymour Branch Library, 137 West Macon Lane. The event is free and open to the public.
