SEYMOUR – The Seymour Quilt Club is providing a day-long opportunity for residents to admire and learn about colorful handmade quilts.
“Today’s Quilts…Tomorrow’s Heirlooms” is the title of the show on Tuesday, April 15 beginning at 10 a.m. in the community room of Williams Family Seymour Library. A narrated quilt turning at 7 p.m. will complete the event. This free event is open to the public, who can browse the collection from 10 to 7 and/or enjoy the turning.
Seymour Quilt Club President Denise Gault explains the quilt turning. “We will have a mock bed set up on the stage,” she said.
